Pendulum to Paper Productions

Established in 2018, Pendulum to Paper Productions is a Limited Company founded by Valerie Ni Loinsigh and Thomas Quain with the express purpose of artistic creation. Their repertoire includes animation, film and theatre.
We connect with the contemporary Irish audience through imaginative and meaningful storytelling and creative visual content.
Valerie Ni Loinsigh is a professionally trained actor, writer and fluent Irish speaker. (B.A. Hons from Trinity College, Dublin)

She is signed talent with Step Forward Entertainment Group. http://www.stepforwardentertainment.com/ Here, she is managed by Robert R. Blume, founder and co-producer of the Drama Desk Awards.
She lived in New York for a year 2015/16 on a Graduate visa where she appeared in three different Off-Broadway productions and worked as a Site Director and Teaching Artist for Wingspan Arts.

As a professional writer, she has had her work produced Off-Broadway and, an excerpt from her play, 'Gilligan's Survivors' was performed at the launch of 'The Dionysian' magazine in Brooklyn in 2016. She co-created the comedy series, 'Notions' with award-winning film-maker Eoghan McQuinn.
She is an award-winning comedian who has performed at The Trinity Fringe Festival, Edinburgh Fringe Festival, Indiependance Comedy Festival, The International Comedy Club and Broadway Comedy Club. She is developing a new style of performance called 'stand-up commedia'. She continues to develop this and aspires to facilitate workshops in 2023 in association with the company.

Valerie also has a full time career in finance and trained as a qualified chartered accountant. She has also passed her FAE's and a Personal Training Course.
Thomas Quain is a professional filmmaker with many years of practical experience in the Irish Film Industry and has a broad skill set that he has developed through working in film, theatre and animation.
He holds a Masters in Animation from the University of South Wales where he produced his the first series of his popular online animated series 'Poxy Bleedin Shop'. He also holds a Degree in Film & Television from GMIT.
He has completed one feature film called 'I'm Talking to You' and is currently in post production on his latest feature called 'A Season in Hell,' which he Wrote & Directed. He also recently completed Production on the Second Season of his animated webseries 'Poxy Bleedin' Shop'. This stars some of Ireland's most well known comedians such as Karl Spain, Bernard Casey, Tadhg Hickey and Owen Colgan.
He currently works as a Marketing Executive.
